Our Mission

Our Team

Harry Kent

Founder, CEO

Harry has climbed all over the world as a professional adventure guide. He and partner Keith Lober were the first Americans to make a winter ascent of the North Face of the Eiger, one of the most challenging climbs in all of Europe at the time. His accomplishments include difficult routes in the Rockies, Andes, the Alps, and Himalayas.

Based in Estes Park, Harry is the founder and president of Kent Mountain Adventure Center (KMAC) which he created 31 years ago.  KMAC provides outdoor year around adventure courses for youth and adults that include rock climbing, avalanche education, and multi day wilderness courses.

In 2015 Harry’s passion for offering unique bucket list experiences for guests was launched to a new level with the offering of “Cliff Camping” whereby guests sleep on porta ledges under direct supervision by KMAC adventure guides. In 2017 Harry designed and completed the construction of the first Via Ferrata in the Estes Park valley.

Harry continues to build new Via Ferratas around the country under his newest venture Via Ferrata Works.
